The 17th Global Slag Conference will allow all attendees to maximise their profits from slag - both ferrous and non-ferrous, will keep them up-to-date with the industry state-of-the-art and will provide extensive networking and business opportunities for both producers and users of slag and slag-based products. The registration fee includes attendance at the conference and exhibition, conference proceedings book including delegate names/company/country and all available presenter slides in pdf format, participation in networking/speed-dating sessions, delegate name badge, special distribution magazine, coffee breaks and snacks, lunches, welcome reception and farewell reception. 

The conference super-early-bird registration fee is £545 (£654 including Austrian VAT) until 16 December 2024 and the early-bird rate is £645 (£774 inc. VAT) from 17 December 2024. The conference standard-rate registration fee is £745 (£894 inc. VAT) from 1 February 2025. The conference final rate registration fee is £845 (£1014 inc. VAT) from 1 March 2025. Employees of members of the conference association partners (Euroslag, National Slag Association, Slag Cement Association, Australasian (iron and steel) Slag Association, Nippon Slag Association and the Brazil Steel Institute) benefit from a £100 discount on these rates. Speakers register for £495 (£594 inc. VAT), while confirmed producer/user speakers register free.

The Global Slag Awards Dinner will take place at Schloss Schönbrunn, after the first day of the conference. Return to the hotel by 23:00, latest. The Global Slag Awards Dinner is bookable at a rate of £125 (£150 inc. VAT), during registration.

A full-day field trip to local slag sites (including voestalpine stahl Donawitz GmbH) will take place on Friday 27 June 2025. Full details will be posted here in due course.

Note: The organisers reserve the right to alter future registration fees on an ongoing-basis, if required by currency movements or other unavoidable circumstances. Pre-existing bookings will not be affected.
